The FIRST PLATOON is a group of progressive Civil
War reenactors dedicated to the historical preservation of our nation’s Civil War history and to honor
those who fought and died to preserve our country.
In pursuit of this goal, the First Platoon
participates yearly in a number of battle reenactments, educational forums, and living history demonstrations.
We are based out of Maryland, with members from Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
